Our IVF story has literally been documented through incredibly raw, joyful, real, moments, through the artistry of Kayla. She has been there since the beginning, and the gift of our story-through pictures is beyond words.

- 3 weeks later: gallery delivery
- 3 weeks later: music slideshow delivery
- keep, save, download, print, post, every image- they all share your family's story and are featured in your beautiful, digital, gallery.
- many families print images, and your gallery has a professional print shop linked straight to it! OR, print on your own. You do you.
I will ALWAYS honor this request! I have every client fill out a contract which states that it is ALWAYS a person's right to request this privacy. We will communicate this preference ALWAYS:)
What if I don't want my children on social media/website?
- As weird as it sounds, my approach is very much: interact with one another and just be together (walking in a field, doing the dishes, having a quiet moment together on the couch listening to records). These little moments are what I hone in on.
- HOWEVER- I am one of those people who feels awkward in FRONT of the camera, so I definitely guide people and ensure they know I've got them covered. I offer slight suggestions or adjustments and then we go on our merry way together.
What should we "do" at our session?
- TOP priority: what you are comfortable in.
- WITH this said, I have found that certain ideas can really help guide families toward flattering, non-distracting, natural clothing.
- I have a wardrobe guide I send my families to make sure they feel confident and at ease!
What should we wear?
- Long story short, they are exactly what you need :) Photojournalistic family photography is SUCH a blast because sessions are each incredibly unique.
- My sessions start at 1 hour and my extended packages for larger family sessions ensure everyone has time to feel comfortable, change clothes if they want, and enjoy the experience

Do you offer payment plans?
YES. Similar to elopements, I feel families shouldn't have to compromise quality for their special family session. I work with families individually to find a payment plan/schedule that eases their minds. I firmly believe in this. I encourage people to communicate individual needs. If we are the right fit, I will do whatever you need to ensure we partner together. ALL of my packages are ALL inclusive for this reason, as well: transparency.
What type of family sessions do you do?
- Truly, I preserve the memories of families where they're at in a natural way that is reflective of who they are. This may include:
- maternity: in-home, intimate sessions, or more playful outside
- delivery
- newborn
- family adventure sessions (an evening hike, a stroll through the neighborhood, etc.)
- celebration of life (with great care, planning, and consideration to family needs)
- milestones
Talking for hours and dozing off with the tv on. The record skips a few times and we pick a new song to fall asleep to. Morning coffee, a few minutes late to work, a brisk walk down the street window shopping for the upcoming fall season. Wool sweaters, bare trees, cold nights.

So cold we can see our breath as we hike the open fields in the fog. Climbing and chasing waterfalls while the sun sets behind the mountain and the snow falls in the river. Chatting with locals while we sip our coffee and head out for the next adventure.

Morning coffee and reading the newspaper together, the cool fall breeze blowing through the window as you pour another cup. Black denim and leather boots, the deepest crimson flannel. Rose gold and velvet. Rich and lush. Red wine and dark twilight nights.
